How do I add the VAT Registration Number to my customers in Zoho Books?

To add VAT Registration Number to your customers, you enable VAT for your organization in Settings.

Once enabled, you can add VAT Registration Number to your customers. Here’s how:

• Go to Sales on the left sidebar and select Customers.
• Select the customer for whom you want to add the VAT registration number, and click Edit at the top of the customer’s Details page.
  • If you’re creating a new customer, click + New in the top right corner of the page. In the New Customer page, enter the other required details.
• Under Other Details, select VAT Registered as the VAT Treatment.
• Enter the customer’s VAT Registration Number. You can also click Validate TIN below this field to validate if the customer’s VAT number is correct.
• Enter the other required details and click Save.

The VAT registration number will be added for your customer.
