Major features
Offboarding
This year, we introduced offboarding as a separate module to help HR teams create a positive exit experience for their employees. With offboarding in Zoho People, HR teams can create customized offboarding workflows that help them approve resignations, complete clearance forms, conduct exit interviews, and generate and collect offboarding documents, all from a single centralized system. Employees can raise resignation requests, check the progress of their offboarding process, get information on their last working day, and even stay on top of their clearances. Localization
To better support global workforces, we introduced localization in Zoho People. Now, admins can translate key system terms into multiple languages so that employees can access HR services effortlessly. Form names, form fields, service names, view names, and section names can now be tailored to cultural and linguistic preferences, creating an inclusive HR experience for everyone. Pulse surveys
At Zoho People, we truly understand that listening to employees is at the heart of every meaningful people management strategy. That's why we introduced pulse surveys, a key feature that helps HR teams run short and focused surveys of up to 10 questions at scheduled intervals. SCORM compliance
SCORM compliance in our learning management system enables admins to provide standardized e-learning materials in the form of documents, videos, and quizzes while tracking progress and performance with precision. Learn more!
Remote work policy
Since remote work is becoming incredibly prominent in almost every organization, we at Zoho People have introduced a remote work policy, a new feature that lets HR admins manage every employee's remote work. With this, they can define the number of days employees can work remotely in a month, set approval rules for remote requests, raise automatic requests when employees log in remotely, and more. Auto shift mapping
At Zoho People, we understand the shift management tasks that HR professionals have to deal with. In order to make them less complex, our team has introduced auto shift assignment, a key feature that assigns employees to different shifts based on their check-in time. Holidays Gallery
Holidays Gallery lets HR teams add holidays tailored by employee location, supporting local celebrations and making workplaces more inclusive. Learn more!
Generate employee ID as part of onboarding
Zoho People now enables HR teams to generate employee ID numbers automatically during onboarding or when employees are added as users to the system. Salary revision letters in compensation
With this enhancement, HR teams can generate salary revision letters effortlessly with Zoho Writer’s mail-merge templates. It enables them to automatically pull Zoho People field data for a smooth, personalized experience. Workflow logs

Login page customization

Timesheet overtime policy
We understand that tracking every employee's overtime hours is essential to ensure compliance and pay employees accurately. That's why our team introduced a timesheet overtime policy that lets HR teams track daily, weekly, monthly, weekend, and holiday overtime hours based on time log hours. Whether you’re looking for ready-made templates, customizable options, or the power to create policies from scratch, this feature gives you the tools to manage and reward employee efforts in the right way. Continuous review based appraisal cycle
At Zoho People, we understand that performance reviews have to be objective and accurate to make them meaningful to employees. That's why, with our latest enhancement, managers and HR teams can evaluate employee performance by analyzing the scores and ratings they receive as part of their continuous performance reviews. 2025 was a very special year for us as we launched HRizon, our first flagship HR conference, bringing together 270+ HR leaders to rethink people, culture, and purpose. It was so good to see HR professionals share insights on the future of work and the evolving role of HR.

This year, we hosted an exclusive HR roundtable, where C-level HR leaders came together to discuss real challenges and practical solutions that shape the future of HR. As an HR software vendor, these conversations help us build better, more thoughtful products.

People unlocked: The Zoho People masterclass
Our hands-on masterclass series in Hyderabad and Dubai helped HR teams explore Zoho People capabilities in depth, experience live training, and connect 1:1 with product experts.

Zoho User Group Meetup
We also hosted our User Group Meetup in London to connect with our users and help them meet, network, and share ideas with fellow Zoho users and our product experts. Our users were incredibly happy to learn some powerful ways to make the best out of their Zoho People system.
