Zoho Sign partners with Geda and Evrotrust in Kenya to accelerate digitization

The Kenya National Digital Master Plan 2022-2032 encourages businesses to switch to digital alternatives to automate, safeguard, and accelerate their business operations. Zoho Sign has helped facilitate this transition by enabling Kenyan businesses to sign documents digitally and automate signature workflows with ease. The integration with Zoho Checkout allows for payment collection along with signature collection via M-Pesa. Zoho Sign abides by the local e-sign laws and maintains high standards of compliance and security by integrating with licensed Electronic Certification Service Providers (E-CSPs) accredited by the Communications Authority of Kenya. 

In addition to its earlier integration with Tendaworld, Zoho Sign now integrates with Geda, a licensed E-CSP with technological backing from Evrotrust, to provide legally binding digital signatures. This integration allows for signer verification and allows users to sign via the bring-your-own-key (BYOK) method.

Evrotrust is a globally recognized qualified trust service provider (QTSP), which empowers Geda with technological support such as remote identity verification, timestamping documents, e-stamping, and other similar e-authorization processes. 

What's new in Zoho Sign with this integration?
With Geda + Evrotrust within Zoho Sign, you can enforce signer authentication through the user's registered Evrotrust account. Users can set up their own or their organization's key when integrating Geda and Evrotrust, and sign with their own keys in the BYOK method.
