As we step into the new year, we at Zoho People would like to thank our stakeholders for helping us introduce some new and useful features in our product, making it even more comprehensive. To start 2022 out with a bang, we have introduced a few important features and enhancements in January to help Zoho People add value to your HR strategies. Here's everything new in Zoho People since 2022 began:
Option to input start and end times while creating bulk time logs
Using Zoho People, employees can log the time they spend on different projects in their time logs. They can either log time manually or use the timer option to record time automatically. When it comes to logging time manually, they can use daily, semi-monthly, or monthly logs when there is more than one time log a day. Before, employees could only enter the total hours they put toward completing a project when create bulk time logs. With our new enhancement, employees can now simply input the start and end times, and the system will calculate the total hours automatically. Admins can now either allow users to input total hours or start and end times, or they can allow both. Learn more about this enhancement.
Exceptions under Timesheet reminder settings
Under the Timesheet feature in Zoho People, automatic reminders can be configured to remind employees when they forget to log time, log less than the required number of hours, forget to submit their timesheets, or submit less than the required hours for approval. With our new enhancement, exceptions can be configured so that certain employees will not receive these timesheet reminders if they aren't necessary for them. Exceptions can be defined based on the department, designation, role, or group employees belong to. Learn more about this new feature.
Back up appraisal cycle data
The performance management system in Zoho People enables administrators to run appraisal cycles regularly in a way that is consistent with their organizational rules and regulations. During the appraisal process, they can conduct self-appraisal, receive feedback from peers, facilitate salary hikes, assign reviewers, normalize ratings, and perform a host of other functions. Before this enhancement, all the data associated with these review functions would disappear when the appraisal cycle was restarted or when an employee was removed from the appraisal process. With our new enhancement, it's now possible to export that data beforehand so it remains available for future reference. Learn more about this enhancement.
Wrapping up
We hope these features help your organization take the tedium out of HR processing and provide an exceptional working experience to your employees. Take these features for a spin and leave your feedback in the comments section below. We'd love to hear from you! For any questions or concerns, write to support@zohopeople.com.
