Oct 9, 2026 Changed Retrieve Payout (GET /payouts/{payout_id}): the account_details object now returns bank_name. The transaction_type field is no longer returned.
Oct 6, 2026 Added Added configurations.payment_method_options to payment sessions and payment links. Use upi.allowed_payment_channels and net_banking.allowed_payment_channels to limit the channels shown at checkout.
Sep 30, 2026 Added Added the mandate.active, mandate.paused, mandate.resumed and mandate.inactive webhook events.
Jul 29, 2026 Added Added meta_data to payment links (POST /paymentlinks, PUT /paymentlinks/{payment_link_id} and the payment link responses).
Jul 23, 2026 Changed UPI Autopay mandate executions are now processed only within NPCI-permitted time windows: before 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and after 9:30 PM.

Jun 12, 2026 Added Added the Create Connected Account API (POST /connectedaccounts) and the Meta API (GET /splitsettlement/meta) for split settlements.
Jun 8, 2026 Added Added in-person payment session APIs for Point of Sale terminals: POST /terminal/paymentsessions and GET /terminal/paymentsessions/{payments_session_id}.
May 20, 2026 Added Added the Retrieve Transfer Reversal API (GET /transferreversals/{transfer_reversal_id}).
Added Added the from_date and to_date filters to the List Transfers, List Transfer Reversals and List Connected Account Transactions APIs.
Added Transfer responses now include connected_account_name, currency and failure_code. Retrieve Transfer also returns available_amount_for_reversal and payment_details.
Fixed Corrected the Retrieve Connected Account Payout path to GET /connectedaccounts/{connected_account_id}/payouts/{payout_id}.
May 7, 2026 Added Added the Status.Cancelled filter to the Payments List API.
May 5, 2026 Added Refund responses now include default_currency_amount. Customer responses now include created_time and last_modified_time.
Apr 24, 2026 Added Payment responses now include customer_id, payment_type, transaction_type, phone and dialing_code. The Payments List API also returns transaction_reference_number.
Apr 16, 2026 Added Added Hosted Checkout support to payment sessions. The Create Payment Session response now includes access_key.
Apr 8, 2026 Added Added configurations.allowed_payment_methods to payment sessions and payment links to control which payment methods are shown at checkout.
Mar 26, 2026 Added Added max_retry_count to payment sessions to limit the number of payment attempts.
Mar 13, 2026 Added Added the Split Settlement APIs for transfers (/transfers), transfer reversals (/transferreversals) and connected accounts (/connectedaccounts), including connected account payouts and transactions.
Added Added transfer_details to the Create Payment Session API to split a payment across connected accounts.
Mar 12, 2026 Added Added pagination to the Payouts List and Payout Transactions APIs. Both now accept page and per_page and return page_context.
Feb 11, 2026 Added Added meta_data to virtual accounts.
Feb 6, 2026 Added Added the Retrieve Customer API (GET /customers/{customer_id}). The Create Customer API now accepts phone_country_code and meta_data.
Added Added notify_customer to payment links to send the link to the customer by email or SMS.
Feb 4, 2026 Added Added meta_data to refunds.
Added Added the Virtual Accounts API: POST /virtualaccounts, GET /virtualaccounts/{virtual_account_id}, PUT /virtualaccounts/{virtual_account_id}, PUT /virtualaccounts/{virtual_account_id}/close and GET /virtualaccounts/{virtual_account_id}/payments. Added the virtual_account.paid and virtual_account.closed webhook events.
