At Notebook, we take your privacy and security seriously. We will never sell your information, and we don’t do ads. Your data belongs to you and is encrypted at transit and rest.

Lock your notes
Secure your notes by locking them with a passcode. Alternatively, you can protect your notes and notebooks in the Notebook app using Touch ID or Face ID. You can also set up personalized security questions in order to safely reset your passcode later.
Encrypted at rest
We take our commitment to user security and privacy seriously. That’s why we’ve added another extra layer of security to your notes. All your notes are encrypted at rest, making you the only one who can view your data.
To share or not to share
Stay in control of your data and decide how and when you share with Notebook. You can choose to share your data from Spotlight search or your clipboard, or with Siri, speech recognition, and Callkit.
Export your data
Your data is yours to export and back up at any time in ZNote or HTML format. You can also export your individual notecards with a passcode.
