Introducing New Apple features for iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS Golden GateFeatured
Zoho Inventory now makes the most of the latest from Apple across iPhone, iPad, and Mac. With Apple's on-device Foundation Models, you can create items and batches by scanning, pull up a report with a plain-language request, and turn a business card into a contact. Siri lets you create and approve transactions, upload documents, and find customers by voice, without opening the app. On the Mac, App Resizability lets you run Zoho Inventory side by side with another app, and a new extra-large Home Screen widget lets you check transactions and mark a shipment as delivered at a glance. Note: Foundation Models, Siri, and App Resizability are available on iOS 26 and iOS 27. Extra Large Widgets are available on iOS 27.

Zoho Inventory Android UpdatesFeatured
Items in picklists can now be grouped by sales order for a more organized picking experience, and you can filter picklist items by sales order or assignee to quickly find the items you need to pick. You can now also change the template while creating or editing a credit note, add an alias name to an item to search for it using names commonly used within your organization, and view an improved onboarding dashboard that follows the Sales Order, Package, Shipment, and Purchase Order sequence to make it easier to follow the order fulfillment process.

Custom Embedded Barcode TemplatesFeatured
You can now customize embedded barcode templates by defining a template-specific prefix, delimiter, and character length for selected fields. This lets you configure barcodes generated by external sources, such as weighing scales, to match your barcode format. Once configured, you can scan weight-embedded barcodes while creating transactions, and Zoho Inventory will automatically identify the item and add it to the transaction with the quantity encoded in the barcode.

You can now create custom dashboards in Zoho Inventory by adding predefined panels and report panels based on your business requirements. You can also set permissions for individual reports within roles to control which reports and data users can access. This helps you personalize dashboards with the inventory information most relevant to your day-to-day responsibilities and quickly access key insights. Note: This feature is only available in the Enterprise Plan in Zoho Inventory.

Exclude Transfer Orders from Inventory AgingFeatured
The Inventory Aging Summary report now supports the Exclude Transfer Order filter. When enabled, stock received through Transfer Orders will be aged based on its original stock-in date instead of the Transfer Order date. This helps you track the age of stock based on when it originally entered the organization, even after it is transferred between locations.

Age Column in FIFO Cost Lot Tracking ReportFeatured
An Age column is now available under the Product In section of the FIFO Cost Lot Tracking report. The column shows how long each stock has been held based on the date it was received. This helps you quickly identify older stock while tracking inventory under the FIFO valuation method.

You can now assign a Super Admin in existing organizations that do not have one. An active admin across all Zoho Finance applications can assign themselves or another eligible admin as the Super Admin. The Super Admin has additional privileges to manage admins and set up and manage the organization across Zoho Finance applications.

You can now control which user roles can access an extension's components during installation. Only users with the selected roles can access the extension's user-facing components, such as widgets, custom buttons, related lists, tabs, and custom views. You can also update role-based access from the extension's details page after installation.

You can now organize vendors into a hierarchy by associating sub-vendors with a parent vendor. This helps you manage related vendors together and get a consolidated view of their transactions. Parent vendors can view and manage child-vendor transactions based on the access granted by the child vendor. You can also record payments for child-vendor bills and apply vendor credits to them from the parent vendor.
