How to process bonus payments for my employees?
You can issue a bonus by adding a bonus earning while processing a regular pay run.
- Open the pay run in draft.
- Open the employee who should receive the bonus.
- Add the bonus earning and enter the amount.
- Save, then continue reviewing and approving the pay run as usual.
Zoho Payroll calculates the associated tax and National Insurance for that earning as part of the pay run.
Note: A separate bonus payroll type is not available in the UK edition right now. Use a bonus earning in your regular pay run instead.
