We're here to assist you with day-to-day payroll activities, whether you're a payroll admin or employee.

How secure is my data? Payroll Admin
We know security is your top priority; it’s ours, too. We adhere to the same safety standards as banks do, and we make sure all your information is stored safely in our trusted servers. All the information you enter into Zoho Payroll - bank account and sort code details, National Insurance numbers, and pay details - is 256-bit SSL-encrypted and is accessible only by you and the ones you give access to. We also comply with UK data protection law. So yes, you’re in safe hands.
What do I do if I don’t have any employees to pay for a specific pay period? Payroll Admin
It’s quite often the case in seasonal businesses that the employees might not be working for a few months. In such a case, you can skip all the employees from that pay run.
Can I pay a non-resident employee? Payroll Admin
Zoho Payroll UK is built for running UK PAYE payroll for employees in your organisation. Add each person with the tax code, National Insurance, and payment details needed for pay runs and Full Payment Submission (FPS) reporting to HMRC. If someone has a special tax status (for example they are not UK resident for tax), enter the tax and National Insurance details that apply to them and follow HMRC’s rules for their situation.
How do I start using Zoho Payroll from the middle of the year? Payroll Admin
You can switch to Zoho Payroll at any time during the tax year (6 April to 5 April). It’s easier to make the transition at the start of the tax year, as less prior payroll information will be required to set your organisation up. If you switch mid-year, import your prior payroll for the current tax year so year-to-date pay, tax, and National Insurance stay accurate.
