Import and edit markdown files in Zoho Writer

We have now extended Zoho Writer's markdown capabilities to allow users to import and export markdown files (.md) without losing any formatting. Coupled with existing markdown capabilities, this makes Zoho Writer a complete markdown editor.

Benefits of markdown editing capabilities in Zoho Writer

The ability to import and edit markdown files using Zoho Writer is especially valuable for users that frequently work with AI because AI apps often generate files in markdown format. You can also apply markdown when copy-pasting content to Zoho Writer.

Steps to import or export markdown files in Zoho Writer

1. To import a markdown file, launch Zoho Writer's dashboard and click Upload Document.
2. To export a document as a markdown file, open the document, click Download As Markdown (.md).
