Statutory Earnings Summary


The Statutory Earnings Summary report lists statutory payments by employee for a selected period, such as the current tax year. Use it to review amounts paid for statutory leave and sickness.

View the Statutory Earnings Summary

  1. Go to Reports on the left sidebar.
  2. Under Payroll Overview, open Statutory Earnings Summary.
  3. Set the Date Range, then click Run Report. Use the filter, compare, schedule, and export options described below.

What the report shows

ColumnDescription
Employee NumberThe employee’s number in Zoho Payroll.
Employee NameThe employee’s name.
Employee StatusWhether the employee is active or another status shown in the report.
Earning NameThe statutory earning type, for example Statutory Maternity Pay, Statutory Paternity Pay, or Statutory Sick Pay.
AmountThe amount paid for that statutory earning in the selected period.

A Total row sums the amounts in the report. Use Customize Report Columns to change which columns appear.

Filter, compare, schedule, and export

After you open this report, you can refine the period, narrow results, schedule report emails, or download the data. For a list of all the reports, see Reports Centre.

Date range and more filters

  1. Choose a Date Range preset (for example This Year, This Month, or Previous Month), or select Custom and pick start and end dates.
  2. Optional: click + More Filters to narrow by fields such as payroll status, department, or work location.
  3. Click Run Report to refresh the results.

Compare with

If the report shows Compare With, choose a previous year, month, or quarter to contrast with the current period, then click Run Report again.

Schedule the report

  1. Open the schedule option on the report.
  2. Choose how often to send it (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, or Yearly).
  3. Add recipients and the file format (PDF, XLS, XLSX, or CSV where available).
  4. Save the schedule.

Export the report

  1. Click Export as.
  2. Choose PDF, CSV (where available), XLS, XLSX, or Zoho Sheet.
  3. Optional: select Protect this file with a password and enter a password of at least 6 characters.
  4. Click Export.
